Sayouri is my original character. They're a pilot who loves to fly, and in their spare time loves to take naps!

The name Sayouri is an intentional divergence from Sayuri, a name that evokes delicacy and quiet beauty, sometimes translated as "small lily." By adding the extra "o," the name stretches the sound slightly... almost softening it, like a slow exhale before sleep! The altered spelling keeps the grace of the original while marking the character as self-defined rather than inherited. For a pilot who loves napping, “Sayouri” carries a subtle duality: someone who graces the open sky with precision and confidence, yet treasures stillness and rest between flights.
